The tender management app will provide the flexibility to choose among two bidding types- Open/Commercial Bid and Restricted/Technical Bid.
Open Bid will allow suppliers to set out tender RFQs for everyone, regardless of application criteria. On the contrary, a restricted Bid will be published for a selected business size/domain/seller.
Technical Odoo Tender Management App:
- A Technical bid form will be displayed on the portal when the Supplier bids a particular tender.
- A manager has the right to approve the tender.
- After the approval, you can Publish the Tender on Portal.
- As the bid type is “Restricted,” it will be visible only to the selected Supplier.
- The Supplier can fill out the form and submit it.
- As you click the smart button as shown in the below image, the User/Manager will be able to see the Bid results.
- Tender User/Manager can enter a score for the Bid answers.
- After the bidding period ends, the Manager will be able to select the Bid and approve it.
- Upon approval, the Supplier will be notified through an email.
- The Manager can also create a Purchase Order (PO) for that particular Bid.
- The tender Manager can Publish the result, so the Supplier can see the bid score and bid status on the portal.
Odoo Commercial Tender Management:
- As this Bid is open for all suppliers, bidders can sign up from the portal itself.
- Suppliers need to fill up the Price and remarks in the Commercial Bid Form.
- Suppliers can see the Bid History.
- The tender Manager can approve multiple tenders at a time.
- Automated Notification Email is sent to the Supplier when the Bid is approved.
- Tender Manager can publish the result of the Bid on the portal.
